But Why the Honey Bee?

Arval Kenneth (Ken) Fortune, Jr. was born and raised in North Carolina.
Robi Love Fortune was born and raised in Louisiana.
We met and were married in Tennessee.

We now live in Arkansas permanently.

The official State insect for North Carolina, Tennessee, and Arkansas is the Western Honeybee (Apis mellifera). The official State insect for Louisiana is the Honey bee (non-specific).  As such, we chose the honeybee to represent K and R Gun Works, LLC.  Honeybees play a vital role in the reproductive cycle of all plants and crops.  Honeybees produce honey and beeswax, which have valuable uses for humans and animals.  Just as the Second Amendment to the US Constitution limits government infringement of our God given right to protect ourselves and our property, the honeybee protects our overall prosperity and well-being.  As a gunsmith-centric business, we see K and R gun Works, LLC as the honeybee for our customer’s firearms.
